Magyoranje
Magyoranje is The Dutch Football Club in Hungary. The name comes from a combination of Magyarország (Hungary) and Oranje (the short name for the Dutch football team).
Magyoranje was founded in 2009, by a small group of Dutch people who live in Hungary, and wanted to play football. Currently the group is extended to about thirty members. On average half of this group visits the central training on Friday evening.
The training is every Friday evening from 19.30 until 21.00 on the Vasas field in Pasareti ut 11-13 (Buda side)
The club is also welcoming new players, even if there is not a direct link with The Netherlands.
The training sessions are led by Walter Groen, a certified Dutch trainer.
Besides football, there is also an interesting social aspect to it, as most players enjoy the ‘third half’ as much as the football part.
