The British International School of Budapest (BISB) contacted Hofpro, in the autumn of 2012 to help out with their football activities.

 

The BISB is offering the students extra after school clubs, including football.

 

During the first season that Hofpro was involved, Walter Groen assisted the teachers who were responsible for the football clubs for KS1 and KS2, and ran his own session for KS3.

Shortly after that, there was a request for more time slots, and BISB and Hofpro discussed and organized two, pre-school sessions as well.

 

 

This season, Walter Groen and his team of trainers are involved in multiple sessions:

 

Wednesday morning, 7.30-8.25 for KS2/KS3

Wednesday afternoon, 17.30-19.00 for KS4

Thursday afternoon, 15.30-16.15 for KS1

Thursday afternoon, 15.30-16.45 for KS2 (parallel session)

Thursday afternoon, 16.45-18.00 for KS3

 

For the big school tournament in May, in Warsaw, BISB will create two football teams. Both KS2 and KS3 will compete in a small tournament. The trainers of Hofpro will advise in selecting the players for the teams, will prepare both teams for the matches and one of the coaches will join the teams on their trip to the tournament, to coach on the spot.

 

As this is a school event, the sessions are only open for students of the BISB.
